"Can the girl who never speaks... Become the voice of a generation?"
Schoolgirl Tara is a shy girl, but with a big secret: she is 'Radio Rebel'. When she puts on her headphones and does her daily podcast from her room, she is confident, candid and inspiring. When her stepfather, the owner/producer of SLAM radio, finds out that Tara is Radio Rebel, she gets to present a live show from SLAM's sound studio. Everything seems to be going perfectly until Headmaster Moreno, whose sole purpose in life is to take down others, cancels the prom and all the students blame Tara.
