"Sleep tight, America! The safety of the free world rests in his hands!"
Bones Conway is fired as a home appliance salesman and joins the military with his friend Jack. After all, as a volunteer they receive a starting premium, a decent income, food and clothing, and even a discount in many shops. Although assigned to the engineer troops, immediately after their training they are sent to the war in Chad, where the Americans support the fight against the Libyan troops.
