Il Boia di Lilla plot

The young and beautiful Anne de Breuil is in a boarding school for girls in a monastery. One night she secretly leaves the dorm. She meets a young lieutenant whom she seduces and asks to accompany her to Picardy. Later she falsely accuses him of desertion. The unfortunate officer is sentenced to death and the sentence must be carried out by his brother 'The executioner of Lille', who vows to avenge him. Meanwhile, Anne has managed to get the Comte de La Fere and she becomes his wife. She is going to aid Cardinal de Richelieu in his intrigues against the French king under the pseudonym Milady. She hopes to set a trap for the executioner...
