Valentino plot
Valentino (39) is a successful Italian Maserati salesman and has a relationship with Monique, the daughter of his boss. He is about to get promoted and marry his great love. But Valentino has one problem; he is not Italian! When his father has a heart attack, he makes an emotional appeal to his son. Valentino agrees, but soon his promotion to director threatens to fall completely into the water. And worse still; because of all the excuses Monique begins to doubt his love. To keep the woman of his dreams, Valentino will have to take off his Italian mask.

Moderate remake of the already weak French comedy L'Italien (2010). Najib Amhali is better as a comedian than as an actor. On the few moments that she was in the picture, Yolanthe Cabau stole the show.

very weak romantic comedy that neatly walks through all the clichés of the genre without being innovative and does not even manage to be funny for a single moment. only at the intro (Soundtrack Rocco Granata) I still had a smile on my face, for the rest it was gone quickly.

Falls along for a film in which Najib Amhali plays a Moroccan-Dutch car salesman who, with a fat Italian accent, fakes his own background. Also with a nice - but predictable - message about someone who bends prejudices to be found fun and interesting. Completely unambitious and the comic timing leaves a lot to be desired, but Amhali clearly has fun with his caricatured character. There are more irritating Dutch public films.
