Jean Cocteau: Autoportrait d'un Inconnu plot
Biographical documentary about Jean Cocteau (1889-1963), the acclaimed French writer, painter, director, scriptwriter, set designer and actor who already published poetry and edited a magazine at the age of only sixteen. Using audio and video interviews, director Edgardo Cozarinsky showcases this multi-talented genius, sharp wit and attentiveness to people, places and past times. An admirer of Igor Stravinsky, Pablo Picasso and Claude Debussy - to name some of the great artists and composers he knew - he knows how to tell both sensitive and entertaining anecdotes about these and other famous and less famous friends. Clips from some of his films are also represented.
