The Bridge in the Jungle plot
Gale (Charles Robinson) is an idealistic, naive fighter. He decides to go into the Mexican jungle to hunt crocodiles, despite warnings that no one but the native Indians can survive long in this jungle. However, Gale becomes completely disoriented and starts delirious. He is rescued by Sleigh (John Huston), an old hunter who lives among the Native Americans. Sleigh shows Gale how hard this native Mexican village works, all the while a child disappears from the village.
