Haha, this was so bad! And yet I must honestly admit that I still had a reasonable amount of fun with this film. That is why my final score remained relatively mild.

Even in this monstrosity, Christopher Lee gives a solid performance as a werewolf hunter.

Unfortunately, the rest of the cast is mediocre to very poor. Annie McEnroe and Reb Brown do not come across as credible at all and Sybil Danning also seems to have clearly been chosen for something other than her acting performance.

The 'story', in which Lee's character, together with those of McEnroe and Brown, have to destroy the powerful werewolf princess Stirba (Danning) is of little significance. This means they have to do this with tytanium(?) and Stirba actually knows from the start that they are coming to eliminate her. Another amusingly bad thing is that Stirba was given some kind of bad magical powers. This results in some very entertaining scenes here and there.

Furthermore, they have made the credits very entertaining with some expert cutting and pasting.

A film that might still be entertaining for fans of this kind of B-movie nonsense. Other people can safely leave this film for what it is.

This sequel cannot compete with the first part at all, fortunately there is still some fun here and there for the viewer. Delicious pulp food for fans, but I'm not one of them. The film mainly relies on its high erotic content and a few laughable horror situations. Sybil Danning is perfectly cast for this sexy role. What a sensual actress! She only appears in the story about 30 minutes in. Also note the end credits in which the busty Sybil takes off her clothes again and again.

It's nice that Christopher Lee also plays because he gives the film something more. For me this is trash food!

Extremely campy and silly, but that is partly the appeal of a film like this. Director Philippe Mora chooses a setting that tries to connect with the first part, but ultimately follows its own tone. The Czechoslovakian landscapes enhance the atmosphere and Christopher Lee always remains a reliable presence, but once the punchline is given away it is striking how clumsy this production is. Poor editing (some characters scream in pain before the wolves even devour them) and a clumsy concept are rampant, so I cannot give the film a passing grade. Sybil Danning also replaces Dee Wallace as a prominent figure who absolutely cannot act, so Mora changes it up nicely that way. Comical left and right because of its badness and it is great fun, but the misty forests of the first part still had significantly more charm.
