I used to think Steven Seagal was the very end and I even gave this movie 4.5 stars.

Now 11 years have passed and I don't watch action movies nearly as much as I did before, but this still remains entertaining.

Seagal acts like Seagal acts, you either like it or you don't. The story is nicely made up but as far as I'm concerned they should have kept the story completely in the train, sometimes it is quite messy.

The ending is reasonably satisfying but it should be clear that I can't give this 4 and a half stars anymore, as far as I'm concerned it is sometimes a bit too forced for that.

2.5*

Copy of the 1st movie with a train instead of a battleship. Nothing special to mention. Film is nevertheless easy to digest and even one of Seagal's better films. That says more about the poor quality of his other films than the quality of this film

Especially entertaining. Seagal is less disturbing than in the first movie where I didn't find his air to match his character, in this movie it fits better. Reasonable action beyond, trains are always a rewarding location, a nice young Heigl and decent pacing. A very mediocre villain. But all in all just a bit more fun to watch than the first part. 3.0*.
