Watched again yesterday with my babysitters, who are both crazy about horses. So they were also watching attentively for the entire 88 minutes and sometimes with tears in their eyes. Now I have to say that I was also bothered by that. It had been a long time since I had seen Black Beauty, and had forgotten how pathetic this movie really is. Story is not too difficult, and nicely done with the voice-over of Black Beauty. Touching scenes. beautiful horses and also a very nice soundtrack by Danny Elfman.
Surprisingly, because I was still moved by the end, the film goes a little higher and goes from 3* to 4*
