The two sisters Soumya and Meenakshi are forced to leave their ancestral home with their mother and younger sister. They build a new life in the city. Soumya, the eldest sister, falls in love with a young man who works in the film. He dreams of becoming a famous director. The younger sister, Meenakshi, is in love with a boy who ends up breaking her heart. He considers his career more important and prefers a richer girl. When Meenakshi is over the shock, she starts dating an older man.
