Worthless? Well, I think otherwise. I otherwise had a great time with the movie ¨Amateur Night¨. By far the best movie of the series. The rest could all go through with it. Movies contain enough grossness and some ladies, no matter how attractive they were, didn't come off well. Especially in the video ¨Tuesday the 17th¨ the ladies came to their end in a cruel way. Pretty funny actually. I could have fun with it. After all, it's just a movie, isn't it .

3.5*

Not a great omnibus. The advantage is that with such a collection of shorts you can throw yourself into something else every so often. The disadvantage is that the worn-out VHS tapes, together with the found footage, make it bad and too unsightly. Then it loses its intensity.

West's honeymoon is particularly tame in this selection. At least in the woods there's a little bit of gore involved, but those supernatural glitches really don't make it any more fun. Bland even. The video chat is not a nail biter and ends up being a bit weak.

In the overarching story and in the large haunted house there is at least a mild shudder with the occasional nice touch, but there is no real crackling. Surprisingly, the winner of this horror bundle is Bruckner's. With the girl with the big eyes. Nice thing. Nice voice too.

One of the lesser omnibus.

High expectations not met, was very disappointed afterwards.

Tape 56: Strange film that goes between the cuts, vague story and not scary. 1.0*

(Amateur Night): The ending is still exciting at times, but way too focused on sex and nudity. Of course it belongs in a horror movie, but this gives it too much of an erotic touch. 1,5*

(Second Honeymoon): This made my pants fall off completely. People do things that make you think if the director and cast have them all lined up. 0.5*

(Tuesday the 17th): Despite the amateurish way of filming, it's quite a funny film where a smile sometimes hits you. Nice parody of twists in a horror movie. 2.0*

(The Sick Thing That Happened to Emily When She Was Younger): Ah! A film that finally lives up to its genre, sometimes exciting and fairly original in its entirety. 2.5*

(10/31/98): The best and therefore also a strong closing. Nice effects on some pieces and quite compelling. Too bad they didn't put this one up until the end. 3.5*
