Wonderful sequel! Wirkola may be able to hold the viewer's attention better than with the first film. There's plenty of gore and violence again and the sequel hasn't had the problem of getting going. This picks up right where it left off. The lead actor also comes across much more convincing, so I also checked whether it was the same actor. Wirkola knows how to make a good sequel. It's all a little bigger and better. The story really continues and the new elements don't give you the feeling that it has been dragged in by the hair. In particular, Herzog's sewn-on arm to Martin has a lot to offer. It gives the film a nice Evil Dead edge and I often had a good laugh as a result. Only the final is a bit disappointing. That had quite the been there done that feeling. Nevertheless, a strong sequel. I look forward to the third part.

Better than the first part and that is exceptional. Very nice sequel that also raises the level of humor. The characters are also getting an update. For example, the main character was quite good and I also enjoyed the museum keeper. As a group, the moronic police force with the commissioner in the lead was also very entertaining. And then I'm not getting those nerds just yet...

For the rest still a pretty idiotic plot, but that doesn't matter here. A zombie slasher does what it has to do: a lot of blood, gore and preferably with a pinch of humor now and then. Definitely a success in that regard.

More (predictable) references to horror classics, more comical, endless bloodshed and more comically intended, caricatural figures in this reasonable sequel to the surprising hit film from 2009. Martin [Vegar Hoel], the sole (human) survivor of the massacre in Dead Snow turns out to be not having finally dealt with the Nazi zombies led by Herzog [Ørjan Gamst] and enlists the help of the mysterious Zombie Squad. Every now and then there is something to chuckle, but as a comedy this is less successful. Still good for a chuckle every now and then, the make-up is excellent and there are enough gallons of blood flowing to keep diehard splatter fans happy.
