After it has been made clear to us that Carey is an irresistible womanizer 
a "whodunit" follows that just won't get exciting and in which they look for ways to make things complicated. The (predictable) confrontation with the alleged perpetrator was a relief for me that this mediocre thriller was (almost) over. Now all we have to do is wait for the intended surprising real denouement... sorry, not recommended.
