De Verbouwing plot
The story is about the successful plastic surgeon Tessa (Tjitske Reidinga), who is about to open her private clinic. But she's not happy. Her marriage is in danger of falling apart. At the same time, the renovation of their house seems to be a disaster. When Tessa then becomes involved with an old friend (Peter Blok), there seems to be no way out.

Rather dull. This never gets exciting, the story is mediocre and the ending has quite a few typical points and unbelievable things that don't do the film any good. This was also not to be taken seriously, while I think a good thriller should have that in it. But the film does look easy, the atmosphere is nice and Reidinga does a decent job. 2.0*.

Bizarre how Tjitske Reidinga looks like Renée Zellweger on this cover
And in the film she occasionally resembles Bridget Maasland (also in voice).
About the film itself, well, an ordinary film. Not good, not bad. Fine. Not special. Not very exciting and sometimes a tad predictable. So it's a normal movie.
