Somewhere in the Thuringian Forest, a mythical land full of legends and superstitions, a sex offender roams. Police psychologist Johanna is sent to Thuringia. She is staying with her friend Vera and her husband Bruno, who have been living in this region for some time. Old stories and old feelings surface. The two women learn that ten years ago in Munich they were both in love with the same man at the same time but without ever meeting.
