Panamarenko, la Magie de l'Art plot
In the documentary we follow the Flemish artist Panamarenko on a journey through his wonderful world. We see how he – dressed in waders and assisted by his blond fiancée Evelyne Hoorens – tries out a water vehicle in the pond he has dug in front of his house in France. We see him in his studio explaining to an amused-looking aircraft engineer his latest creation, a plane in the form of a shiny soap bubble with enormous wings. And finally, there are archive images of a young Panamarenko: he hangs upside down from an iron construction with magnetic shoes and, in another fragment, is busy blowing up an early version of his zeppelin. Except for some wrinkles and gray hair, he appears to have hardly changed in the forty years since his first steps on the artist path.
