Marie gets a wooden nutcracker in the shape of a doll for Christmas. Her brother soon broke it. Marie therefore puts the doll in a doll bed. When she goes to have a look at him at night, he turns into a beautiful young prince. He takes Marie to a world of giant toys and super-sized mice.
