During the first half of the film I thought I was watching the worst horror film of all time: not only does the film use cheap jumpscares and other horror clichés, but also all the weak, annoying clichés of the genre pass in review where everyone is doing the dumbest possible. does things to make it easy for the killer(s), you know exactly who is going to be killed next and so the film has no surprises whatsoever. Some kind of horror parody that isn't funny. But after the twist – if the film becomes a kind of Home Alone – the film is still entertaining, even if you can still easily predict the order of murders (but then on the other side). The ending – with a few quick twists – is nice too.
