From 'Star Wars' to 'Jedi': The Making of a Saga plot
Documentary about the making of the original Star Wars trilogy in general and Return of the Jedi in particular. Scenes from the films and images from the production are interspersed with interviews. A lot of attention is paid to the special effects. In an extensive interview, George Lucas talks about the limitations of the technology at the time and his wishes for the future. Contains the original deleted scene from the first Star Wars movie, in which Han Solo meets Jabba the Hutt. This scene was not made in the film due to technical impossibilities and was only finished in 1997.
