“Don't mess with the class of 99, bitch!”

A reunion with all the old cast members and a lot of sentiment makes for a nice film. Even Chris Klein is back and that makes the party complete. Scott, Biggs and Levy are still by far the funniest and they have the best jokes. Klein and especially Ian Nicholas remain a bit boring but Kaye Thomas is doing well. Possibly his best film after part one.

I found Hannigan a lot less than in the previous parts and was a bit whiny and dramatic here. Suvari is a good actress but has too small a role here and basically the same can be said about Tara Reid. Nadia, Jessica, Sherman, Stifler's Mom, MILF Guy, they all drop by and it's a feast of recognition. It's 13 years later but luckily they haven't changed a bit and still their immature selves. A funny and pleasant trip down memory lane.

Another cake.

Doesn't exactly rise above the level of any other Pie film, nor does it change the humor it does have. And doesn't bother to show other humor either, because the directors have just kept it to puberty.

The best thing about the film is to see the actors as adults. Although I prefer the younger versions, but it certainly doesn't make the experience any less. Despite this, the plot remains largely the same as the predecessors, as expected.

Awkward and over-the-top moments that are all about sex. You have to love it, it has also become very American over time. Every comedy has at least some reference to sex from that country.

Visually reasonable, everything is done smoothly, but the camera use, sets and lighting remain classic and never really stand out. Acting is convincing because every actor seems to really feel like it. They all know how to brighten things up.

Too bad I don't like this kind of humor and I didn't laugh much at most situations. I think it's all too simple to be really fun, but because they all go so smoothly I keep watching them.

Not much again.

Not a fourth time either, good time for this series. It's just more of the same. The characters have aged a bit, so the fact that they are in a new phase of their lives is the main reason for making this film, but in the end the jokes are still the same, just the punch line changes a bit. And the drama, but who's waiting for that?

Surprisingly, they made this film another 20 minutes longer. In a movie that offers more of the same, do they want to stick even more of the same? It barely adds anything, it just makes the film longer than necessary. Not so bad that it has an impact on my rating, but would rather have just seen it again around 90 minutes.

It must have been fun for the actors, probably also for the fans. Everyone is a bit older, a few familiar faces return and the cast can do their thing one more time, but as far as I'm concerned it's mainly a bland extortion of something that wasn't very funny the first time. I'll leave the spin-offs for what they are at the moment, I've had enough of this for now.

1.5*
