The story of Debbie Peagler and the struggle to get her out of prison. For 26 years, this woman, a victim of domestic violence, has been imprisoned for complicity in the murder of her abuser: her 'boyfriend', who abused and prostituted her. Two budding lawyers get their teeth into the case after she has been imprisoned for twenty years. The case is receiving worldwide attention.
