In August 2005, $164.7 million was stolen from the Central Bank in Fortaleza. Without a single shot being fired and without the alarm going off. The thieves entered the building through an 84-meter tunnel and took the money out the same way. It took more than three months of preparation, with thousands of dollars spent. It was one of the most sophisticated and well-planned crimes ever.
