Young interpreter Mai (Barbara Wussow) receives a message from her father, an Asia expert. He asks her to come to Singapore. Once there, she receives a message in secret language and the instruction to travel to Thailand with the Singapore Express. On the train she meets adventurer Nick (Daniel Morgenroth). She doesn't trust him at all, but falls in love with him.
