An entertaining action film, as you often encounter with Wesley Snipes. For the good story and the great cast, you should not watch a movie like this. However, if you want pure entertainment and just sit back in your seat, Drop Zone is the ideal film.

Mediocre action film in which a prisoner is freed from a flying plane. A fairly standard and uninteresting story. But that's not what this movie should be about. Of the spectacular and beautiful stunt work in the air. Furthermore, Wesley Snipes and Gary Busey are okay, but their characters are far from captivating. Still somewhat entertaining, and therefore only 3.0 stars.
I pulled this one out of the closet because I did a tandem jump myself today. And that was the ultimate kick.

Film that has many similarities with the film "Terminal Velocity", also released in that year. The films do not differ much from each other, only this film is slightly of a higher level (not much by the way). This was mainly due to the cast in the form of Wesley Snipes and Gary Busey (quite often present in 90s film with its annoying head). Yancy Butler was also allowed to be there, especially because of her appearance. The story isn't great, but it still looks good. Just like with "Terminal Velocity", this film also has to rely on the parachute jumps that were just a bit more spectacular and exciting.
