Young Edward Jekyl is eager to prove that his father was a dedicated scientist, rather than the dual-personality monster. Edward's opponent is Curtis Lanyon, the executor of Edward's father's will. Curtis secretly tries to drive Edward insane so he can take the precious legacy of Doctor Jekyll for himself.
