La Ligne Droite plot

Leïla gets her freedom back after 5 years in prison. She will meet Yannick, a young athlete who went blind after an accident. The only discipline he can practice with his handicap is running. That is with a guide to which it is connected with a wire. Leïla, who used to be a top-level athlete, will be his guide in this case. Leïla is silent about her past. Yannick, choking on the pity of his entourage, agrees to the silence. The training followed by the competition matches will help them to recover, one with the other.

Apparently based on an authentic story, although I can't find anything more about it than just that. Still, the plot is a bit illogical here and there, but that is offset by the intensity of the protagonists - Brakni and Descours, who play very nice roles. In any case, also very clever in the physical aspect, although occasionally you can see that there has been some trickery. It's a shame that we get to see relatively little of the matches - perhaps too difficult with the rights. I think it would be very interesting to see it in real life. It's unimaginable to stand on the track like that without seeing where you're going. It remains amazing what a person can do if you believe in it and go for it.
