Kilo Vasquez's career as a drug lord is over when he is arrested by the FBI. His empire is taken over by his worst enemy, Jesse Mendoza (Enrique Castillo), but when he is kidnapped, Kilo sees his chance to regain his status. But Mendoza is of course determined not to let Kilo have his way and a real war between the two cartels ensues.
