"The family just got bigger"
The adorable Chihuahuas, Chloe and Papi are back and ready to start their new life together. With their family of five puppies, they enjoy life in the home of Aunt Vivian who is on vacation with her niece, Rachel. Rachel's friend Sam Cortez is babysitting the house when he learns that his own home is being taken from him and his family. Chloe and Papi know they need to take action. With the help of their puppies and their friend the German Shepherd they will try to make this day a success!

The film is certainly suitable for the family but unfortunately not for myself, otherwise a lot of old-fashioned and lame humor, no, I'm not a fan of this.

Doesn't quite match part 1.
Still quite nice otherwise. Watches away and sometimes put a smile on my face. Sometimes a bit too weak. Side-plot of papa Delgado was not necessary and I also miss the references to other films in this part. Voice cast is ok again.

If you're happy with a parade of dressed up Chihuahuas and/or romping puppies, this is your cup of tea. The story is a little better than Beverly Hills Chihuahua, but don't let that be a recommendation. This opens with the wedding of Chihuahuas Papi [George Lopez] and Chloe [Odette Annable] with all the lame jokes and puns you can think of and continues with the "cute" antics of their 5 puppies Lala [Madison Pettis], Rosa [Chantilly Spalan], Pep [Emily Osment], Ali [Delaney Jones] and Papi Jr. [Zachary Gordon]. Their owner Sam [Marcus Coloma] is left alone while his fiancée Rachel [Erin Cahill] helps her mother [Susan Blakely] search for a medicinal plant in the Amazon. Sam discovers that his father [Castulo Guerra] and mother [Lupe Ontiveros] are in danger of losing their home. Naturally, the Chihuahuas come up with a way to scrape together the necessary money. Pure exploitation of pets because of the craze that was unleashed by Paris Hilton among others. If that is not an objection …
