The Bad Seed plot

"Evil Kids Have The Sweetest Faces"

Rachel is a nine-year-old girl who can't be faulted except when she's angered or challenged. A number of incidents she was involved in give her mother Christine the idea that Rachel could be a killer in the making. When Christine also discovers that her mother was a convicted murderer, she begins to believe that Rachel has a genetic predisposition to murder and has no idea of the evil she is capable of.
