The Way to the Stars plot

Bombers take off from a British airport towards France during WWII while young pilots keep arriving. One of them is Peter who has only 15 hours of flying experience to his name. He is taken under the care of David, a more experienced pilot. The film tells less about the real war practices than about the camaraderie, humor and fear in and around the air base.
