Renata Bella's life is a failure. But when she has to go somewhere for work, she finds the one in the form of Sam Sharpe, a successful businessman, who is much older than Renate. A good film about a woman introducing her new boyfriend to her family. Simply a beautiful family drama with plenty of good scenes. Especially how the new, somewhat unintentionally annoying boyfriend takes his place within the family. The characters are well-developed, thanks in part to the fine cast and good acting.

Truly brilliant film. Hunter and (especially) Dreyfuss are so good. What a powerful character. One who makes you laugh and brings a tear to your eye. The projector on the pregnant belly, the moment when he wants to perform a song, the baptism scene. Beautiful. This is how I want to feel a film. Everything seems to fall into place. I really enjoyed it immensely.
