Song of Old Wyoming plot
"THRILLING ROMANCE - RUGGED ACTION!"
Kate 'Ma' Conway, the owner of a ferry ranch and the publisher of 'Bulletin Laramie', is involved in the fight to get Wyoming into the Union. She refuses to be intimidated by the corrupt politician Lee Landow and the equally corrupt banker Jesse Dixon, who fight against her together. Cowboy Eddie Reed and foreman Uncle Ezra are stopped at La Platte Pass with the cattle from the Conway Ranch by Jesse Dixon's henchmen, led by Ringo. An armed encounter ensues and Eddie Reed is rescued by speedy shooter Cheyenne Kid, a notorious outlaw. Raised by Ma Conway as her own daughter, Vicky admires the Cheyenne Kid's courage, much to the chagrin of Eddie, who is in love with her.
