"Past Passion. Past Terror. Past Murder."

Ben Jordan is released after 15 years. He ended up in jail for stabbing his wife with a knife. After all these years, however, he still maintains his innocence. Laura Mathews, the social worker who has to guide him from now on, believes him blindly. As she gets to know him better and has conversations with people from Ben's environment, she falls in love with him more and more. This is despite the warnings of her friends, who are convinced that she is involved with a cold-blooded killer.

Solid thriller in which a social worker starts a relationship with her client, who was accused of murdering his pregnant wife. Still doable as a whodunnit because it could go in any direction, and Richardson's interpretation of the role was also well received by me. The lame role was for Rutger Hauer. The link with Tarantino doesn't mean much.
