When a local man turns up dead on the beach, two very different detectives are brought together to solve the case: fastidious local senior sergeant Dulcie Collins and a rugged Darwin understudy, senior investigator Eddie Redcliffe. Together with their overenthusiastic junior agent Abby. As the town prepares to launch the annual Winter Festival, the trio must put aside their differences and work together to find the killer.
