Sheep herding is just about the main activity on the British Isle of Man. On the farm of John Moore lives the young border collie Owd Bob, candidate for the next championship. His main competitor is current champion Zac, the dog of gruff neighbor Adam MacAdam. One day his grandson David, recently orphaned, comes to ask Adam for shelter. With Zac's help, David learns the ropes. He also befriends Owd Bob and Maggie, John Moore's daughter. But the closer the championship gets, the more David is forced to choose his grandfather and dog Zac.

We recently got a new channel called Filmbox. A channel that only broadcasts movies, but unfortunately, the information is very sparse. Anyway, I wanted to check if there were commercials and if they broadcast the entire film. And fortunately, that is positive. However, I had my reservations about the quality when I saw what the films they broadcast were about. And that was the case with this film as well. A film about a sixteen-year-old boy or something? His parents died in America, and he only has his grandfather, who lives on the Isle of Man in England. So, youth services decided that he should just try going to live with his grandfather. Fortunately, he isn't a difficult boy, because Grandpa isn't very keen on the idea and is actually a difficult man. And so follow some exaggerated English clichés in a story that you can see coming from miles away. Only the cute little piglet that can herd sheep was unfortunately missing. All in all, not a great film. And so the first prejudices against Filmbox have already been formed. I had already decided to check Moviemeter first before watching a Filmbox film. However, to my surprise, I saw that this film had actually received quite a high rating here. So what am I supposed to do with that? But no one has written about the film. I am the first. Filmbox will surely be prosecuted. But certainly not this film.
