Une Affaire de Goût plot
The wealthy, distinguished industrialist Dalemont is very pleased with the young waiter Nicolas in a chic restaurant. He asks him to join him as his taster. This unusual position attracts Nicolas, partly because of the princely salary. But it soon turns out that it is no ordinary job: the employer tries to mold the personality of his employees to the bizarre. Nicolas is fascinated by Delamont and at first willingly does everything Delamont expects of him. This against the sore leg of his girlfriend Bèatrice, who thinks it is all going too far. Gradually, a power game develops between the two men.
