Slices of Life plot

"At home, at work, at play...terror is never far away."

The film consists of three segments, which could depict the life of Mira, who woke up on the side of the road at an old motel, not knowing anything about herself anymore and searching for her identity in three sketchbooks. In 'Work Life', a nanotechnology company receptionist unleashes a zombie virus at headquarters. In 'Home Life', local teenagers start to disappear. A young woman is then haunted by visions of evil demonic children bent on stealing her unborn fetus. In 'Sex Life', a young brother and sister run away from home where they are sexually abused and take refuge in a large house in the countryside. However, they discover that it is not much better here. Mira is convinced that the characters from the books are wandering around the motel. Are the visions real or are they fake? Desperate Mira seeks help from the motel's janitors, only to discover the evil of the books and the fate they bring for her.
