Rogue River plot

"You can't outrun family"

Struggling with her father's recent passing, Mara embarks on a lonely journey to Oregon's Rogue River to scatter her father's ashes. When Mara's car is towed, she accepts a ride from the friendly Jon Wall who is also mourning the death of his young daughter. A short detour leads them to Jon's beautiful cabin deep in the woods where he lives with his wife Lea. Lea soon sympathizes with Mara as they both find comfort in the grief of their personal tragedies. But not all is as it seems on the picturesque Rogue River. Soon, Mara finds herself in a nightmare and must fight to survive in the dark and violent world of Jon and Lea.
