Louie Bluie plot

"Filmed at the 1985 Friscofest"

This documentary takes a look at the life of Howard Armstrong, nicknamed Louie Bluie, a somewhat unknown country blues musician and eccentric artist. He was a member of one of the last all-black string bands, playing mandolin and violin. His own stories and those of his friends reveal who Louie Bluie was and give a picture of early African American blues music.
