Der Engel mit dem Saitenspiel plot
Achim and Vera are good friends and lead a carefree and happy life. Until they have to decide how to spend New Year's Eve together. Vera wants to celebrate with friends, while Achim prefers an abandoned ski hut with peace and contemplation. So he goes alone to the mountains. In the hut he meets the student Susanne and together they spend New Year's Eve, get to know each other better and start to love each other. But due to an unfortunate mix-up at the station, they lose sight of each other on the return journey. They haven't even exchanged their names and addresses, making a reunion almost impossible. All Susanne is left with is a carved wooden figure...
