After Siegfried is murdered by Hagen Tronje, her wife Kriemhild wants to take revenge on Hagen. However, her brother, Günther, stands up for Hagen, forcing Kriemhild to come up with another plan. When the infamous leader of the Huns Etzel proposes to her, she sees a suitable opportunity to take revenge on Hagen.
