Mrkácek Ciko plot

Eleven-year-old Ciko's father is a diplomat and is recalled to Czechoslovakia after years of living in Mexico with his family. Unworldly, trapped in the upper-class environment governed by all kinds of rules and norms and strictly raised and taught by his mother, Ciko has become a stranger in his own country. He lacks social skills outside his own environment and is therefore very isolated. Ciko also has a small tic: he blinks violently when he gets nervous. At his new school he immediately has a hard time and he gets the unpleasant nickname 'Blinker-Ciko'. When he secretly goes to a 'Stone Age' summer camp, he meets children who do accept him for who he is.
