Alle Tage Ist Kein Sonntag plot

Freiburg in the 1950s. The music teacher Evan Kende lives with the feisty twins Peter and Paul in the Freiburg artists' pension 'Melodia' in very modest circumstances. She is unmarried and single parent, and simply says that the boys' father just abandoned her. As the children get older it becomes more and more difficult for Eva to dodge the questions about their father and eventually she shows them a photo. It shows a man, Alexander Brandtstetter, in front of his factory of the same name in Frankfurt am Mein.
