Film about the life of John Lennon (Philip McQuillan Phoenix) aged 16 to 24, including the early years of The Beatles. The journey takes him past the house he grew up in with his Aunt Mimi, the Woolton Parish where Lennon and McCartney first met, Penny Lane and Quarry Bank School for Boys. The film also provides insight into manager Brian Epstein's great talent for marketing and public relations.
