The umpteenth.

In the meantime, it is mainly the shamelessness with which these kinds of things are released. Adding something yourself has long ceased to be a goal. Now that's just part of the horror genre, but the seriousness that often prevails in these kinds of films makes it a lot more difficult to enjoy it.

An infection blah blah blah. The story no longer needs to be written down, it has already been told so many times. Freeman is a reasonable addition, the native population is something new and the setting is nice, but it does relatively little to see someone dragging through a landscape again, on the run from a bunch of trailing zombies/infected.

In terms of horror, there is really nothing to experience, the drama is never really interesting or believable. What's left then? Not much. Visually very ordinary, I didn't even notice the soundtrack. So band work, but this time from Australia.

2.0*

Predictable or not, this film is not about the tension or gore. This is just a really nice human understated movie with some zombies in the background.

Atmospheric, quite gloomy Netflix original from Australia, a nice addition to the post-apocalyptic zombie genre. Slow and not exactly an action film, but the film manages to score in other areas. The characters are well developed, the film is visually beautiful and the script is daring and uncompromising. I could do something with it.
