"A tale untold. A legend unleashed."

Ash and his friends arrive in the ancient town of Michina Town, which at first glance looks peaceful. This, however, until Pikachu and Piplup are swallowed by a whirlpool. The girl Sheena arrives and does everything she can to get Dialga to save them. But then Kevin, a friend of Sheena, tells that the fight between Dialga and Palkia in Alamos Town has awakened the legendary Arceus. Sheena tells them that one of her ancestors has deceived Arceus, and that she hopes to rectify his mistake. Then, when Dialga falls victim to the vortex created by Arceus, Sheena asks Palkia to save Dialga. Giratina gets wind of this, and the three continue their fight. Sheena causes the three to bury the hatchet, but in the meantime Arceus has started destroying Michina Town. The three protect the town, but when it turns out that the 'Jewel of Life' they own is fake, the friends will have to go back to the past to find the real one.
