"Do you remember the first time you did something forbidden?"
Two 18-year-old friends from a fundamentalist Christian community flee to the city for a summer job. Maria wants to discover the world before returning home to marry a boy from the same community. During the summer she wants to experience those things that are strictly forbidden at home: going out with boys, watching TV, dancing to modern music, drinking alcohol and wearing makeup. Her friend Raakel is less adventurous and only wants to make sure that Maria returns safely. The summer full of temptations changes the girls' lives forever. Especially for one of them.
