Sheriff of Cimarron plot

Sunset Carson, who was wrongly accused of cattle theft, has just been released. He has served a three-year prison term. Sunset then travels to Cimarron. Cimarron turns out to be a wild city overrun by outlaws. On his first day in Cimarron, Sunset foils a post office robbery, killing two of the three outlaws. The grateful residents of Cimarron appoint Sunset as their new sheriff. The next day, Sunset manages to prevent a gold robbery. Sunset learns that his brother Ted, aka 'The Sonora Kid', is the leader of the outlaws. But Sunset also faces false charges of cattle theft, for which he has been convicted in the past.
