Wolfshead: The Legend of Robin Hood plot
The humble landowner and Saks Robert of Loxley one day sees a compatriot running across his territory. This compatriot turns out to be on the run from Sir Jeffrey, who is the head of the 'Royal Game Warden'. When Robert denies seeing anything, a fight ensues. Sir Roger of Doncaster, Sir Jeffrey's brother, who later learns that Robert was not killed for his lie, still uses the incident to have him arrested and confiscate his land. Sir Roger's ulterior motive is that his bride-to-be, Lady Marian Fitzwater, has had feelings for Robert since childhood and this is getting in the way of his marriage to her. Sir Roger enlists the help of Abbott's secretary to turn Robert into a 'Wolfshead': an outlaw who must be captured dead or alive.
