The Haunted plot
Janet and Jack Smurl are hardworking people who move into a new home with their four daughters and Jack's parents. A lot of strange things happen there, which initially only Janet notices. After a while, her mother-in-law also hears voices. However, when objects start flying around the house, it's clear that ghosts are at work. The church refuses to help them and they turn to professional ghost hunters Ed and Lorraine Warren for help.
